They say the apple never falls far from the tree, and, if that's true, you can count on Ashley Harkrader to be compassionate, loving and giving. Afterall, these were the characteristics of her hero - her grandmother. Ashley's grandmother raised five children by herself after her husband passed away. She also managed a restaurant and put herself through school in the process.

As a new mom herself, Ashley was no stranger to the feeling of being overwhelmed and needing someone to help her make some of the important decisions she faced. That's what stirred Ashley's compassionate side and enticed her to become a baby planner to help new parents with all the uncertainties she had felt. "I love meeting new parents and listening to what they are looking for and interested in," she says. "I love guiding them in the right direction based on my own experiences."

And Ashley's experiences include being a full-time nanny before becoming a parent. "I learned so many valuable lessons while working as a nanny, such as understanding the needs and wants of a child and developing a loving bond with a little person," she says.
In addition, Ashley's educational background in marketing, communications and public relations has helped her establish strong relationships in the Carolina community so she can help clients find the best baby planning resources.
